To Film Distributors, Foreign and Domestic, and Game Companies:
This is a petition to all Distributors--foreign and domestic--and to all videogame companies across the globe to boycott the licensing and distributing of any and all future Uwe Boll videogame-based films. We, the undersigned, strongly acknowledge that Boll's latest feature films thus far--House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark and BloodRayne, respectively--have flopped in both the DVD and BO markets (although House of the Dead managed to bring in a little money counting DVD sales, it did poorly at the BO). Starring in, distributing or taking part in any Uwe Boll film in any way, shape or form is hugely known to be career suicide, and financially unsafe. Distributing or licensing of his films will only result in a loss of money and fan support, ruination of actor's reps, and even an upsized ego, for those of us keeping score at home (anyone whose read even just a few interviews from the man will know exactly what I'm talking about). Please, don't let this happen to you, please, for all that is good in movies and gaming, stop giving this man your licenses, and by God, please stop distributing in any future films, you'll breathe a huge sigh of relief knowing that you've saved yourself the humiliation and loss of income that comes from being involved in his films, thank you.
Sincerely,
The Undersigned
